Happiness cannot be travelled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude. ~ Denis Waitley
What does grace mean to you?
Better yet, what does being in a ‘state of grace’ mean to you?
Does it bring to mind graceful dancers, or a person you feel has an air of elegance about them?
I attended an event this evening and we were doing an exercise where we needed to observe someone who was silently re-enacting a moment of deep emotion, and we were to then try to pinpoint what they were recalling by observing.
As an empath I could detect their emotions at the time, but the facilitator of the event suggested that the reason for being able to detect their story was because we had entered a ‘state of grace’.
I personally love this.
To me this means that as an empath I can communicate with Spirit/God/Goddess/Universe in a state of grace constantly.
How beautiful is this concept?!
It totally shifts what can sometimes be an overpowering state of being that some shun.
How is being an empath overpowering? It can be difficult for empaths to differentiate between their own emotions and those of others, and in crowded situations (for example shopping centres) it can be exhausting and overwhelming negotiating the emotions and energies of so many people as well as our own.
So to switch it up and to bring gratitude for such a gift to the table is amazing. It is wonderful to feel that I am in such constant communication, not only with others, but more importantly with the divine.
I am honoured and blessed to be able to work with my gifts to the extent that I can be of service to others, and I am also honoured and blessed to have become aware how to filter this gift so as not to intrude on the thoughts, emotions or energies of others while protecting and looking after my own energy.
So I wish you happiness and offer deep gratitude for being blessed with a state of grace x
